Why Re-Colonize

NYU FIJI?

Phi Gamma Delta and New York University are a Winning Combination! And Proven!

Phi Gamma Delta, commonly known as Fiji, is a social fraternity with more than 144 active chapters and 10 colonies across the United States and Canada. It was founded at Jefferson College, Pennsylvania, in 1848. Since its founding in 1848, the fraternity has initiated more than 196,000 brothers.

“The Fiji nickname started at New York University as a suggested name for the Fraternity magazine (Fee Gee). It was officially adopted by the national fraternity at the 1894 convention in the belief that the term would be distinctive and appeal to the imagination.

The NYU Chapter Alumni are active today. Pay Forward to new minds means Re-Colonization.

Friends

Years ago I attended NYU and did not know what to expect. What my Major was going to be, Who were to be my new friends, What I would be doing with my Life and How to earn a living. After 40 years of graduating from NYU, proud to say I have many life-long friends from the FIJI chapter.

NYU Community

Nu Epsilon chapter has always been an integral part of the NYU Community. From the times when the Chapter emptied out during WWI and WWII to the 80s to the 90s to Now. We have had two Brorhers featured on trhe front cover of thje NYU Alumni Magazine. FIJI Brothers have been major financial contributors to NYU.

All we ask is to rejoin our history in making NYU unique.
